The yes vote was 24 to 1 no vote today. This is the best news ever for Walton County and the people on our BCC who want to take all our beaches.
Please call Representative Katie Edwards and thank her for introducing this bill. Her number is 954 838 1372. The bill will now go to the full house and then to the Senate for approval. Our BCC members were there today and I can assure you they were most unhappy. We cannot stop now. In a few days, you will get a list of emails addresses to send letters to of the full house members asking them to vote yes when it comes before them. I will drive to the hearing when it comes up to be heard in the full house and Senate.
